Audiomode is back with a heavy, progressive release full of depth, acid and squelchy sound effects.
The release is a two-track EP starting with a tune that, just like the release itself, has the name “Above Water.” Ironically, the track almost makes you feel as though you are immersed in deep ocean water. That feeling of deepness is paired with a heavy offbeat bassline and a plethora of vocal samples. A playful sequence is included as the cherry on top of this musical piece.
In the second track of the EP, “Body Drop,” the brilliant kick and bass combo is the real hero. It carries the listener comfortably through the tune and invites her to dance. Just like its companion track on this release, it incorporates a wealth of voices and other sound effects.
“Above water” will be out on Solar Tech Records on October 7th 2021.
